These terms apply to the iPhone app Isopod Colony Care ("the app") provided by SenriLabs ("we"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
What the app does
The app is an offline utility for keeping track of care (Misting, Feeding, and your own custom care types) across isopod colonies and bins: it manages due dates, lets you complete several care tasks at once, keeps a history of completed care, and records each bin's population trend.
Disclaimer
- Care due dates shown by the app are estimates based on the interval you set. They do not guarantee the actual condition of your animals or habitat. Care decisions are your own responsibility.
- Population status (Growing / Stable / Declining) is a subjective note you enter yourself; the app does not count or measure your animals.
- Except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not responsible for any loss or damage — including anything related to the health of animals in your care — arising from your use of the app.
Your data
Your data is stored only on your device, and we do not hold a copy. If it is lost (device failure, loss, replacement, or deleting the app), we cannot recover it. Back up your device as needed. See the Privacy Policy.
Free and Pro
- The app offers a Free tier and a Pro tier.
- Pro is offered through Apple In-App Purchase as a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not an auto-renewing subscription.
- Pricing follows what is shown on the App Store and in the app's purchase screen. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
- If you switch devices or reinstall the app, use "Restore Purchase" to restore your Pro unlock.
Prohibited use
Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app; use it to break the law or public order; infringe on others' rights; or use it in any other way we consider inappropriate.
Changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app without prior notice. Except where the law does not allow us to disclaim liability, we are not responsible for any resulting loss.
Intellectual property
All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights relating to the app belong to us or their rightful owners.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when we judge it necessary. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the app is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having authority over our location, as the court of first instance.
